Grass Laying

The gardener's most obvious and most frequent task is laying grass. He can more easily lay grass where the soil, the watering equipment and regular care help the grass seed to develop and for the early lawn to strengthen. However, laying grass when landscaping isn't the simplest task. The conditions may not allow the continual care of the lawn after seeding. When landscaping, the grass has to be given a good boost. You can only do this with special technologies which have been developed especially for laying grass for motorways, mine recultivation and other earthworks.

Garden Kft. has all the technology needed to complete the task:
- water jet grass-laying,
- grass-laying with a seeder,
- derosion.

Using water jet technology, the grass seed can be released together with nutrients, cover material, an organic adhesive and a large quantity of water.

The water jet fixed on the seeder has a range of 30 metres, which means it is possible to lay grass from the asphalt of the motorway up to the wildlife protection fence without putting a foot on the site. Of the many advantages of this technology, the most important is that you can put down the grass seed even when the state of the soil prevents you from going on to the site.

Another advantage of the technology is important for the builders of earthworks. By means of the organic adhesive, the mulch stuck on the surface protects the landfill from erosion until the grass is able to take over the task.

With a seeder, the large, flat surfaces of layby junctions can be grassed to excellent quality. The problem with these areas is that they have been used as material stores or as staging areas during road construction, which leads to the compacting of the soil. Even after loosening, large clods still come to the surface of the soil which are unsuitable for creating the seed bed. These clods are placed by our special seeder into the lower layers during the turning of the soil, bringing the fine, crumbly soil over it that is suitable as the seed bed.

In these difficult conditions, it is only possible to lay grass if, as well as using the best and most appropriate technology, other measures are also taken:
- Make a soil study before laying the grass and get a professional nutrient filling appraisal.
- Fill the soil with nutrients in the manner and to the degree recommended by the laboratory.
- Order a grass seed mix of types and kinds that are appropriate for the site.
